Rihanna is heading to South Africa for two shows.After a weekend of social media chatter, Big Concerts confirmed the news on their Facebook page this morning, announcing that the We Found Love superstar would be performing in Johannesburg or Cape Town this October.
The Diamonds World Tour – which kicks off in North America this week – is scheduled for the FNB Stadium Johannesburg on Sunday 13 October and Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday 16 October.

In 2002 he gave up his job as a copywriter and a year before that he crushed his parents’ dream of having an accountant for a son.
Mulaudzi gave it all up for a place in the burgeoning field of stand-up comedy.
“We are one of the best comedy industries in the world. No Joke. Our country is rich in material,” he says.
Mulaudzi’s comic experiences are vast. He is a product of Horror Café’s comedy nights, which ceased with the closing of the café a few years ago. He shared the stage with Trevor Noah, Eugene Khoza and Tumi Morake and witnessed how the seeds of local comedy took root. Continue reading

Since she was a little girl, this livewire Cancerian has consistently attracted attention.
‘I’ve always been an overachiever,’ she giggles.
‘By the time I was in my senior years at Fourways High School I was a prefect, cheerleader, played first-team netball and participated in the school’s theatre production. I did everything. My geography teacher, Mrs Du Preez, said I was going to be on TV one day because I deserved to be seen by everyone.’
Bonang’s aunt, Thole Shabane, agrees with the teacher’s assessment.

A hotel maid was allegedly fired after asking Jennifer Lopez for an autograph.
Pray Dodaj – who worked at the Melia Duesseldorf in Germany – was starstruck when she was sent to clean the former ‘American Idol’ judge’s room recently and tried to get an autograph, but says she was sacked the next day after Jennifer complained.

A NEW money-making scam has been doing the rounds. Taking part in it for less than R100, fans believe they are buying into Generations actor Zolisa Xaluva’s SMS venture to make a quick buck.
Xaluva, better known for his role as advertising executive Jason Malinga in Generations, said yesterday he was aware of the scam.
Xaluva, who joined the Generations cast in 2005, also played the role of HHP’s manager in the e.tv soapie Rhythm City. In 2008 he played the role of Khutso in the SABC1 mini-series uGugu no Andile. Continue reading
